Basement Remodeling

Basement flooding required that all the old carpeting be removed. The homeowner decided to do remodeling along with the repairs. New 8" baseboard molding and new trim were installed. These were screwed in for easy removal and sheetrock was cut back 7" off the floor to prevent wicking in case of future flooding. Trim was primed and painted along with the walls. Previously stained trim and doors was painted white and new ceiling tiles were installed.

Basement strom door access was improved with rotted wood steps replaced with Techo Bloc steps.

The homeowner was delighted with their "new" finished basement. See photo left (bottom).
